How to replace the inlet radiator hose on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

A proper replacement of the Radiator inlet hose starts with draining the cooling system (GE 47716). Next, remove the Radiator support. The hose clamp pliers tool j 38185 will help users release clamp tension from the Radiator inlet hose at the Radiator so they can disconnect the hose from the Radiator. Perform the same procedure by disconnecting the hose from the Water Pump while using the hose clamp located there. The Radiator inlet hose must be removed from the outside of the vehicle. Analogue reference points on hoses and Radiator must match for installation to prevent damaging the fittings. A small amount of clean coolant should be applied to the hose interior before putting the Radiator inlet hose back on the vehicle. To install the hose fold it to the Water Pump then tighten the hose clamp at the Water Pump using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Engage tension on the hose clamp at the Radiator by using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). The Radiator support should be reinstalled next after filling the cooling system with the needed solution (GE 47716).
