How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

Replace the Camshaft Position Sensor by beginning with Power Steering Pump uninstallation followed by disconnecting the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector. Start by detaching the bolt of cmp sensor before removing the cmp sensor from its position. The sensor o-ring needs inspection for damage when replacement of the sensor is not needed. Clean engine oil must be used to lubricate the new o-ring before installing the cmp sensor when replacing it. Reinstall the Power Steering Pump after you replace the cmp sensor bolt with a torque of 10 n.m while connecting its electrical connector.
