2008 Chevrolet Impala Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?
A: After raising the vehicle for support you can begin with the replacement job. First take off the wheel from the vehicle's right front side tire. Feel free to disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electric connection before you remove its bolt and the sensor assembly from the extension case. Remove the VSS from its current position. Fifth, drop the O-ring onto the VSS unit then insert the VSS. Secure the VSS bolt properly until it reaches 12 N.m torque. Reconnect the VSS electrical plug then put back the right front tire and wheel while lowering the vehicle.
