The replacement of Crankshaft Position Sensor requires vehicle elevation with suitable support. First disconnect the electrical connector of the crankshaft position sensor then remove both the bolt and the sensor itself. Before installing the CKP sensor and its stud apply clean engine oil to the O-ring then tighten the stud to 10 N.m (89 lb in ). Lastly, reconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector before lowering the vehicle.
