How to replace the knock sensor for Bank 2 on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

To remove the knock sensor for Bank 2, first, lift and hold the vehicle. Remove the right knock sensor electrical connector, then loosen and take out the knock sensor. In install a new knock sensor, avoid using thread sealant on the sensor threads as this are factory coated and additional coat could interfere with the sensor functionality to detect detonation. Mount it and tighten the knock sensor to 25 N.m (18 lb ft), reconnect the right knock sensor electrical connector and last but not least, lower the vehicle.
