How to replace the outer CV Boot and CV Joint on the wheel drive shaft on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

In order to change the wheel drive shaft outer joint and boot, assemble the required equipment and clamp the drive axle shaft in a soft-jawed vice. Take the old boot clamps off and put other ones on. Grease the boot, fit the CV joint and fix the boot clamps. Lastly, apply grease by spinning the joint and then assembling.
