How to replace the radiator grille emblem/nameplate on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

The Radiator Grille Emblem/Nameplate can be replaced by heating the loose emblem gently with the J 25070 Heat Gun. Keep the heat gun about 6 inches from the emblem when using circular heat motions to loosen the emblem from its grille. Use a plastic tool to remove both the wreath or crest while using a 3M product (P/N 07501 or equal) to remove all grille adhesive. Wash the area with soapy water at normal temperatures then remove moisture with a soft fabric cloth. Apply a lint-free cloth dipped in 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water mixture to prepare the surface before placing the new emblem without touching the adhesive tape. Put the emblem pins through its two back holes and firmly press them into position on the grille for 30 seconds to secure them.
