How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2009 Cadillac STS?

To change brake master cylinder; make sure the engine is switched off and empty the power vacuum brake booster. Disconnect the level indicator switch of the brake fluid and then the fittings of the master cylinder pipe. Take out the master cylinder, check the seal and change where needed. Install new master cylinder, make sure to align the seals and bleed braking hydraulic system.
