Start by disconnecting the IMT sensor 2 electrical connector before removing the IMT sensor 2 component. Make sure you use the correct part number for your application when installing the new sensor. Before insertion of the sensor threads administer the specified material sealer in adherence to adhesives, fluids, and lubricants, and sealers guidelines. Fasten the new IMT sensor 2 to the specified torque of 20 Nm (15 lb ft). You must now reattach the IMT sensor 2 electrical connector while you also reinstall the intake manifold sight shield.
