From the driver seat bank two reaches the left engine side while sensor one locates nearest to the engine. The threads of reused sensors need to receive an application of anti-seize compound p/n 5613695. First disconnect the bank 2 sensor 1 electrical connector assembly attached to the fuel rail bracket through its separation from the bracket. Install the bank 2 sensor 1 Oxygen Sensor to the Exhaust Manifold while tightening it to 42 nm (31 lb ft). Lift the vehicle while pulling the exhaust sensor electrical connector together with its wire harness into the engine compartment. Connect both Oxygen Sensor electrical connectors to the engine wiring harness connectors while installing the electrical connector retainer to the electrical connector. Both Oxygen Sensor electrical connector assemblies (1, 2) should be positioned on the fuel rail brackets followed by reconnecting the brake booster hose and check valve and attaching the evap hose to the chassis bundle. Rise the supported vehicle once more while installing the Oxygen Sensor wire harnesses on the retainer located at the engine's rear end and be sure to keep them safe from hot exhaust components. Then lower the vehicle.
