Start the replacement process by disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the MAP Sensor before removing the sensor bolts and withdrawing the MAP Sensor and o-ring seal from the Intake Manifold. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the o-ring seal before installing the MAP Sensor onto the Intake Manifold while following applicable fastening procedures. Proceed to install the MAP Sensor bolts and torque them to 10 nm (89 lb in) and after that reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP Sensor.
