  A: For Wheel Cylinder replacement set the vehicle on jack stands and remove its tire and wheel combination along with the Brake Drum. Clear the Wheel Cylinder area before taking out its bleeder valve and fitting. Unscrew the pipe connection and put a seal over the open brake pipe to contain fluid flow. Use the j 38400 Brake Shoe spanner to separate the brake shoes at their top before taking out the Wheel Cylinder from the Brake Backing Plate mounting bolts. Stop the brake shoes apart using j 38400 and attach the new Wheel Cylinder onto the Brake Backing Plate. Use the Wheel Cylinder mounting bolts and fasten them with a torque setting of 16 nm (12 lb ft). Attach the brake pipe to the Wheel Cylinder fitting by fitting it onto the brake pipe end and tightening to 21 nm (15 lb ft). Affix the Wheel Cylinder bleeder valve with an 8 nm (71 lb in) torque.
