How to replace the lower control arm on those equipped with an aluminum lower control arm on 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe?

In order to replace the lower Control Arm in vehicles that have an aluminum lower Control Arm, first lift and support the vehicle and later remove the tire and wheel. Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the lower Control Arm and, for vehicles equipped with a drive shaft, remove it. Supply the knuckle assembly and upper Control Arm with mechanic wire. Take out the lower Ball Joint retaining nut and discard it, and finally pull out the lower shock module bolts in the lower Control Arm. Process option seat lower Ball Joint from Steering Knuckle using tool j 43631 and j 45851 (Ball Joint Separator and protector adapters). Then, unbolt and take away the lower Control Arm nuts and washers , Control Arm bolts bolts, and the Control Arm . For installation, measure into the lower arm uninstall the new lower Control Arm and fix flexibly controlled through the Control Arm bolts and washers. Set the lower Control Arm retaining nuts and tighten them to 175 nm (129 lb ft). For new lower Ball Joint, it is inserted into the Steering Knuckle by the help of the retaining nut with captured washer is tightened to 125 nm (92 lb ft), or when no captured washer is used; the nut is tightened to 70 nm (52 lb ft) plus an additional 90 degrees. Screw in the bottom shock absorber module mount bolts with a torque of 50 nm (37 lb ft). Pull away the support of the Steering Knuckle and the upper Control Arm, then reinstall the wheel drive shaft if applicable. Connect the stabilizer shaft link back to the lower Control Arm, install the tire and wheel, take away the support and lower the vehicle. Finally, align the front end.
