How to Replace the Coil Springs (FE7) on 2010 Cadillac DTS?

To replace the coil spring (FE7), lift up and support the vehicle first. Take off the wheels and tires and then suspend the Control Arm using a suitable jack. Unfasten the electronic level control air from the shock and remove the 2 bolts which are holding the shock to the Control Arm and then the hex nut. Use the j 24319-b steering linkage puller and mount the j 44255 coil spring compressor. Slowly lower the Control Arm so that it rests on the support assembly and remove the coil spring. For installation, position the new coil spring into the j 44255 but make sure that the insulator is securely fitted within the Control Arm. If the lower Control Arm is up, install the two shock bolts while tightening them to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Fasten the adjustment link on the Control Arm with a torque of 30nm (22 lb ft), and add another 180 degrees. Reconnect the electronic level control air tube to the shock and then the tires and wheels to the vehicle and tighten the nuts to 125 nm (80 lb ft). Lastly, lower down the vehicle and check the toe and then adjust it accordingly.
