To remove and change the Steering Angle Sensor, one needs to first disable sir system. Next, take out the Steering Column from the vehicle. Remove the following parts off the steering shaft: the boot seal, the steering shaft seal, sensor retainer and sensor locator. Then, disconnect the Steering Angle Sensor and pull out the adapter and bearing assembly from the steering jacket assembly. For installation, start off by connecting the steering jacket assembly to the adapter and the bearing assembly. Then, install the Steering Angle Sensor, the sensor locator, the steering shaft seal sensor retainer, and the boot seal onto the steering shaft. Finally, re-install the Steering Column into the vehicle and turn on the sir system.
