    A: To replace the air conditioning clutch assembly (LNF) one would start by removing the compressor. Next, remove the three adjustable dowels from the universal spanner wrench (J 37872) and insert three 5/16 x 1 inch bolts in the holes. Use the universal spanner wrench (J 37872) to remove the compressor clutch plate bolt and take out the compressor clutch plate from the compressor. Universally, proceed remove the compressor pulley snap ring with the help of the external snap ring plier (J 6083) and then remove the compressor pulley itself. Once more, do it with the external snap ring pliers (J 6083), remove the compressor clutch coil snap ring and then use the extractor-large wire (J 51155) to remove the compressor clutch coil. As for installation, cleanse the clutch plate bolt threads with 6, one ele m6x1.0 tap, blow out debris, compressed air. Install the compressor clutch coil, the compressor clutch coil snap ring using the external snap ring pliers (J 6083). Next, mount the compressor pulley, along with its snap ring using the same tool. Put a drop of oil on the air gap shim with the thickness of 0.4 mm (0.016 in) and insert it into the clutch drive plate prior to fitting the compressor clutch plate. Make sure that the drive plate does not rub on the pulley when it is turned, and then take the air gap reading of the pulley and the drive plate with the shims adjusted to create an air gap of 0.3 to 0.6 mm (0.012-0.024 in). Install the new drive plate bolt so that it has colored adhesive on at least five threads and tighten to 12 nm (9 lb ft) with the universal spanner wrench (J 37872). Last, replace the compressor and leak test the fittings with the help of the a/c leak detector (J 39400-A).
