How to replace the lower control arm on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

Vehicle suspension begins with vehicle elevation and support followed by wheel removal. Begin by taking off the front transverse spring followed by Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connection removal and shock electronic suspension control (ESC) connector separation when installed. First remove the shock absorber from the lower Control Arm before separating the stabilizer shaft link from the lower Control Arm. Steer the Steering Knuckle so you can access the lower Ball Joint before marking where the cam bolts need to go for reinstallation. Replace all lower Control Arm to crossmember cam bolts with new ones if you need to remove these components on vehicles with zr1 or z06 packages. Front and rear cam bolts, washers and nuts maintaining cross-member Control Arm attachment need removal before lower Control Arm extraction becomes possible. The new lower Control Arm should be put into the vehicle but avoid tightening the cam bolts prior to alignment work. New zr1 and z06-specific cam bolts should be used when securing the Control Arm to the crossmember. Next, install the cam bolts together with washers and nuts for proper attachment. You should secure the lower Control Arm with a jackstand before installing the lower Ball Joint to the Steering Knuckle and attaching the stabilizer shaft link to the lower Control Arm.
