How to replace the exhaust manifold on the LLV (2.9L) on 2010 GMC Canyon?

The first step to change the Exhaust Manifold on an llv (2.9L) starts with removing the exhaust seal. Start by disconnecting the exhaust seal before removing the Exhaust Manifold heat shield and its bolts. Transfer the Exhaust Manifold and gasket away from the engine by careful detachment and dispose of the previous gasket. When installing the system first position the new Exhaust Manifold Gasket onto the Cylinder Head before setting the Exhaust Manifold in its correct position. Before bolt installation you must treat each Exhaust Manifold bolt with gm p/n 12345493 threadlock (Canada uses P/N 10953488). Secure the Exhaust Manifold bolts in correct order to 20 nm (15 lb ft). Reinstall the Exhaust Manifold heat shield after replacing it with the exhaust seal.
