  • Q: How to remove and install the Body Control Module (BCM) on Buick Century?
    A:
    You should disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable first to remove the Body Control Module. You must reset the BCM system when installing a new unit. Take out the left panel insulator before disconnecting BCM electrical wiring. Pull the BCM body upward and move its bottom section away from the mounting bracket slot to take it out. Place the top end of the BCM into the holding plate and push the bottom end into the slot while supporting it from above. Reattach the BCM electrical connections after you install the left instrument panel insulator and complete the procedure by connecting the negative Battery Cable.
