First of all, disconnect the cruise control cable and electrical connector, in order to remove the cruise control module. Next, unscrew cruise control module bracket retaining fasteners and 1, 3) and pull the cruise control module and bracket element out from the vehicle. After that, unfasten the module to bracket fasteners and pull off the cruise control module from the bracket. For installation, start with attachment of the cruise control module to the bracket, make sure they install the module to bracket fasteners and then fasten them to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). After that, carry out the cruise control module and bracket assembly the vehicle back and fix with the help of module retaining fasteners (1, 3) with a tightening of 9 N. (80 Lb. In). Connect the electrical connector and take notice that, unlike other cables, the cruise control cable does not need mechanical adjusting if it has been changed out because the cruise control module will automatically adjust the cable for you. Lastly, connect the cruise control cable and check the operation of the component.
