Check the rubber component inside the engine mount strut for signs of hardness and splitting along with any presence of cracking. To install the engine mount strut start by putting it into its designated position while fitting the bolt and nut onto the left engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support then torque the engine mount strut nut to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). When installing the P-clip on the engine wiring harness position it vertically toward the left engine mount strut bracket before securing it onto the bolt. Fasten the left engine mount strut at its bracket on the engine through the bolt and nut before tightening the engine mount strut nut to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
