Ensure all valve train parts stay properly organized before reinstalling everything in their original positions with matching surfaces intact. Begin by taking out the valve Rocker Arm bolt(s) and valve Rocker Arm(s) and push rod(s) and push rod guide plate(s), followed by extracting the valve lifter guide bolts and valve lifter guide(s). Clean the valve lifter guides while inspecting the cam lobe for signs of wear. Remove all lifting shafts to cleanse their gasket mating surfaces before installation. Install the valve lifters by dipping them in prelude gm (12345501) or equivalent product then position them exactly where they originally were.
