  Q: How to replace the front headlight bulb on Buick Rendezvous?

  A: Beginning the replacement of your rendezvous headlamp bulb requires you to start by opening the hood then removing the thumb screw found at the rear side of the lamp. The ball stud detaches from the grommet after pulling the headlamp straight forward when you free the retainer clip from its position. This enables you to remove the headlamp from the upper fascia support. Rephrase the following sentence. Begin by disconnecting the electrical connector and turning the bulb(s) counterclockwise to remove them. The trim tabs connecting the headlamp must be unlocked while pulling off the trim so 3m™ adhesive remover p/n 8984 or equivalent can be used to remove the adhesive. To install the headlamp trim use new adhesive tape 3m™ p/n 6382 or an equivalent material which you must position on the headlamp and securely press until the end tabs fully fit. To install the bulbs follow a clockwise rotation pattern while connecting the electrical cable to its proper place in the upper fascia support panel. First put the headlamp upper fascia support ball stud in the ball seat before tightening the thumb screw while guiding the vertical retainer downward to secure in place. The last step includes checking the headlamp aim if a new headlamp was installed or if service and repairs took place in the front end area and closing the hood.
