How to replace the LH Lash Adjuster on Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to replace the left valve lifter, remove left valve rocker arms first and then remove the stationary hydraulic lash adjusters (SHLA) from bores. Check valve lifters. When installing, make sure not to stroke or cycle the stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster plunger without oil in the lower pressure chamber. Thereafter, fill the stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster (SHLA) with clean engine oil GM p/n 12378006 or equivalent while ensuring that no scratching occurs to the pivot sphere area SHLA. Next, put the new SHLAs on the bores and then reinstall the left valve rocker arms.
