To replace the crankshaft rear oil seal, dismantle out the Transmission Assembly and the engine Flywheel. Afterwards, apply an appropriate tool to delicately pry off the crankshaft rear oil seal from its housing and dispose of the old seal. Clean out any dirt or rust before adding a small amount (2 to 3 drops) of clean engine oil on the bore of the crankshaft rear oil seal housing, flywheels pilot flange diameter, Flywheel locator pin outside diameter, and Crankshaft Seal surface. Check the j35621-b rear main seal installer (J35621-B) for flaws and eliminate slight irregularities using least grade emery cloth, without any oil or lubricants getting to the lip surface. Take off the sleeve of the crankshaft rear oil seal and apply some clean engine oil in the amount (2 to 3 drops) at the outside diameter of the seat. Mount the crankshaft rear oil seal to the j35621-b and then on the rear of the crankshaft by hand-tightening the tool bolts until tight. Proper alignment is critical; confirm that the seal is close flush and square to the housing. Rotate the j35621-b wing nut clockwise until its sealing is done properly, as there is a greater resistance at the bottom of the housing bore. Cut the j35621-b away from the seal, and pull it out of the crankshaft. Remove all extra engine oil using clean rag get engine Flywheel and the Transmission Assembly back in place.
