    A:
    The first step towards changing the Thermostat is draining the cooling system. Then, take out the bolts holding the Thermostat Housing in place to the Water Pump feed pipe, then remove the feed pipe. Carefully but record due to a subsequent reinstallation, care for removed Thermostat and retaining sleeve's orientation. During installation, install and secure the Thermostat and retaining sleeve with dimple in the housing slot. Before fitting in Water Pump, the o-ring should be lubricated with soapy water or coolants. Replace the feed pipe joining Thermostat Housing to Water Pump, and adhere to the fastener notice in service precautions. Screw the bolt to secure the Water Pump feed pipe doing a 10 nm (18 inch lbs), and finally topping up the cooling system.
