  A: Place the hydraulic pump on a firm horizontal plane with its shaft positioned vertically upward for hydraulic pump reservoir replacement. You should use a screwdriver to extend the retaining clip tab while sliding the reservoir clip in a direction away from the hydraulic pump assembly. Two reservoir clips need removal following the same installation sequence before you can extract the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing.
