How to replace the Differential Cover and seal on the left side (W/O RPO KNR) on Chevrolet Corvette?

To install the Differential carrier cover and seal on the left side (W/O RPO KNR), accordingly, lift and support the vehicle, takeaways the lh rear tire and wheel assembly. Then remove the lh wheel drive shaft and lh Muffler assembly. Drain the fluid from the Differential, hold the Differential, and take out the left Differential mount. Clean all the dirt and debris on the outside of the Differential cover, take out the two bolts that hold the Differential cover in place and push out the dowel pin to remove the cover. Do not dump the magnet on the bottom of the Differential case, and remove and dump the o-ring seal and the axle seal from the Differential side cover. Clean the Differential cover o-ring sealing surface and the Differential housing, and then slide in a new o-ring seal to the Differential cover. Install the Differential cover, putting in the dowel pin and the two retaining bolts, tighten them to 28nm (20 lb ft). Leave the left Differential mount bolt tightened to 50 nm (37 lb ft) and install the axle seal to the Differential cover using j 46405. Fill the Differential with the proper fluids to the correct level and reinstall the lh Muffler assembly, the lh wheel drive shaft, and the lh rear tire and wheel assembly before lowering the vehicle.
