To replace the transmission mount on a 4l60-e/4l65-e/4l70-e automatic transmission, lift and support the vehicle first. Use transmission jack to support transmission then remove transmission support. For rwd, remove the transmission mount mounting bolts, but in the case of a car with 4wd, keep doing so. Once you disconnect the transmission mount from the car, install a new one. Mount the transmission mount mounting bolts for 4wd vehicles tightening them to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.), then mount the mounting bolts for rwd vehicles and tighten them as well to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Re-install transmission support, remove transmission jack, lower the vehicle.
