The set of tools needed for this job includes
Spark Plug port adapter (J22794), valve spring compressor (J38606), and valve guide seal installer (J42078). Start by detaching the valve
Rocker Arm then unplugging the Spark Plug wire from the Spark Plug. Turn each plug wire boot 180 degrees and slide the wire off by pulling on the boot only. Take the spark plugs off each Cylinder Head at normal temperature by turning them 1 or 2 turns first then blowing or brushing off any dirt before fully extracting them. Connect the Spark Plug port adapter j22794 into the Spark Plug hole and use an air hose to push down valves. Place the valve spring compressor j38606 on the valve spring to create compression. Take off the valve stem keys and let the valve spring tension out slowly while removing the compressor, valve spring cap, valve spring, and valve guide seal with its shim. Before inserting, use engine oil to clean both valve seats and timing area then apply oil to valve guides and seals. Install sealed parts afterward. After installing the valve keys onto the compressed valve spring you should use the tool again to pressurize the valve spring. Then place the valve spring cap back onto the assembly before letting go of valve spring compression. Actively release valve spring pressure and remove the compressor unit while using a plastichammer to softly tap the valve stem base when needed for key seating. After taking out the Spark Plug port adapter j22794 follow by hand starting the Spark Plug then tighten it to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) and attach
Spark Plug Wires correctly at their designated locations while confirming everything fits before putting back the valve Rocker Arm.
