One must start by detaching the left rear quarter trim panel to replace the Air Temperature Actuator (Auxiliary). The first step requires disconnecting the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator followed by removing retaining screws which secure the component. Reposition the new air temperature actuator by using retaining screws at 1.9 N.m (17 lb in) torque. Make sure to connect the air temperature electrical connector to the actuator before you return the left rear quarter trim panel to its place.
