Drive Belt from the generator. To begin the process next remove the mounting bolts for the auxiliary generator brace then detach the brace from the vehicle. Begin by disconnecting the generator's
Battery Cable nut then electrical connector before you can remove the generator from the vehicle. Start with generator position inside the vehicle and then attach the electrical connector before connecting the nut then Battery Cable. All procedures must be conducted in accordance with fastener notice in service precautions. The auxiliary generator braces need installation with auxiliary generator bolts that require a torque setting of 50 n.m (37 lb ft) for the long bolts and 25 n.m (18 lb ft) for the short bolts. Once the installation is complete install the Drive Belt onto the generator and upper Fan Shroud and reestablish the battery negative cable connection.
