To remove the Starter motor, take the negative cable off the battery and remove the Starter motor brackets and shields in the event that they are equipped. Next, you will need to disconnect the wires from the Starter Solenoid, remove the bolts and shims if there are any from the Starter motor, and take the Starter motor out of the engine. For installation, align Starter motor upon the engine with bolt installation and shims if exist tightening the same to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Connect the wires from the Starter Solenoid to the
Battery Cable and install it to a torque tightness of 10 n.m (89 lb in) and then the ignition switch wires to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Lastly, bolt the Starter motor brackets and shields back and restore the battery negative cable.
