After securing the automatic shift lock control actuator with the column ball studs begin reconnecting the electrical connector. You should install the shift lever actuator while positioning the column at neutral. Adjust the automatic shift lock control activator by removing the tab from the adjuster block side of the actuator before compressing the internal adjuster spring with the adjuster block while disengaging the adjuster teeth by sliding the block apart from the actuator before locking in position with the tab.
