Using a small curved tool or an l-shaped hex wrench, depress and hold the detent on the Ignition Lock Cylinder by accessing it through the i/p opening to the right of the Ignition Switch; adjust the Ignition Switch position for better access if needed. Pull the lock cylinder out of the switch with assistance from the key while also removing the key from the cylinder. The next step should be Ignition Switch replacement if the cylinder either fails to rotate or gets stuck. To install the system first validate the Ignition Lock Cylinder code if needed then insert the key and rotate the lock cylinder until it reaches the on/run position. Press the lock cylinder into alignment with the Ignition Switch while making sure the white Ignition Switch rotor matches up with the lock cylinder.
