How to remove and install the MAP Sensor on the PCV valve cover on Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The MAP sensor is located on PCV valve cover. The first step to be taken to remove it should be turning OFF the ignition, removing the injector illumination shield and disconnecting the MAP sensor electrical connector. Gently bend the locking tabs that are present in the PCV valve cover which are attached to the MAP sensor, and push them apart until the MAP sensor can be removed from the PCV valve cover and can be pulled straight out of the PCV valve cover. In case of installation, the seal should be installed from the MAP sensor and it should not be damaged. Position and attach the MAP sensor into the PCV valve cover , ensuring that the locking tabs lock the MAP sensor into position. At last, connect the electrical connector and reinstall the injector sight shield.
