Start the Brake Pad replacement by checking your brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. New brake pads must go with fresh retaining clips during replacement. Place Brake Pad retaining clips on the brake caliper mounting bracket first before positioning the new brake pads properly. Keep the spreader springs from getting highly warped during this process. Place the brake caliper back where it belongs. After that, tighten the lower brake caliper guide pin bolt to 64 n.m (47 lb ft). Reposition the wheel and tire parts before letting the car down and topping up the brake fluid tank. Press the brake pedal gently but firmly to allow the brake pads to rest in place before using Brake Pad burnishing.
