The replacement process of the left side Exhaust Manifold starts by dismantling the air cleaner outlet duct before removing the right engine mount strut bracket. Begin by removing the radiator inlet hose followed by disconnecting both heater hoses from their positions on the heater pipes. Secure the heater pipes aside after removing the nuts that keep them in place to the Throttle Body. First remove the exhaust crossover heat shield bolts until you dismount the shield and the next step involves taking out the connecting nuts of the exhaust crossover pipe to the left Exhaust Manifold. First disconnect the Exhaust Manifold heat shield bolts before removing the shield and Exhaust Manifold bolts that lead to removal of the manifold and its accompanying Exhaust Manifold Gasket. The first new Exhaust Manifold Gasket receives placement onto the Cylinder Head before installing the Exhaust Manifold. The Exhaust Manifold bolts need a torque of 20 n.m before installing the heat shield using bolts tightened to 10 n.m. Reinstall the exhaust crossover pipe to the left Exhaust Manifold while securing its nuts to 20 n.m (15 lb ft) torque. After that reconnect heater pipes and hoses and tighten all hardware to the Throttle Body. Complete the installation by adjusting the heater pipes with hose clamps, the exhaust crossover heat shield and its bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). During the last step install the radiator inlet hose and the right engine mount strut bracket along with the air cleaner outlet duct.
