You need three tools to service valve stem oil seals and replace all valve components: en-47823 valve spring compressor adapter (EN-47823), j 22794
Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794), and j 5892-d valve spring compressor. Starting at top dead center position ensures the valve stays out of the cylinder during engine rotation. Before taking out the Spark Plug remove the loosened plug to clear dust buildup inside its socket. Pull off the Spark Plug and then take out the
Rocker Arm. Put the j 22794 adapter into the Spark Plug port then let compressed air keep the valve steady. Place the valve spring between the j 5892-d compressor and en-47823 tool to compress the spring. Turn off the valve spring cap keys, valve cap, valve spring, Valve Stem Oil Seal and place them in order. Put clean engine oil on the valve stem followed by the right valve stem oil seals (black for intake and brown for exhaust). Insert the valve spring and valve cap while using the j 5892-d tool with en-47823 to compress the valve spring once again. Insert the valve cap keys and hold them with grease when needed before placing them correctly. Let compressed air leave while you take the j 22794 from the Spark Plug port. Reattach both components in their proper positions.
