  A: Raising and supporting the vehicle must occur first before proceeding with propeller shaft replacement. Mark the Transfer Case flange of the propeller shaft before removing the bolts that attach it to the Transfer Case. At the next stage of the operation mark the propeller shaft by its position at the torque tube end after which remove the propeller shaft-to-torque tube flange bolts.
