Installation begins with connecting the reservoir to the pump before putting on the Power Steering Pump pulley. You should reinstall the pump into the vehicle before applying torque of 34 nm (25 lb ft) on the Power Steering Pump mounting bolts. The installation process requires connecting the power steering return hose to the pump together with the power steering pressure hose while fastening both fittings to 27 nm (20 lb ft). Place the Drive Belt before performing the power steering system bleeding process.
