How to replace the negative battery cable extension on GMC Acadia?

The battery negative cable extension cable replacement starts with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Pull the engine wiring harness from its mounting position on the battery negative cable extension cable clip then remove the battery negative cable extension cable ground bolt attached to the Cylinder Head. Detach the battery negative cable extension cable terminal from the Cylinder Head before removing the battery negative cable extension cable ground bolt from the left wheelhouse panel upper reinforcement. The engine compartment becomes accessible after disconnecting the battery negative cable extension cable clip from both the left upper engine compartment support bracket and the front compartment side rail. Reinstall the battery negative cable extension cable inside the engine compartment while following the fastener notice during the process. Connect the battery negative cable extension cable ground bolt to the left wheelhouse panel upper reinforcement. Tighten the bolt to 58 n.m (43 lb ft). Connect the left upper engine compartment support bracket and front compartment side rail through the battery negative cable extension cable clips. Screw in the battery negative cable extension cable terminal to the Cylinder Head then install the ground bolt on the extension cable while tightening it to 58 n.m (43 lb ft). Connect the engine wiring harness to the battery negative cable extension cable clip and join the negative Battery Cable into place.
