In order to replace the Inside Air Temperature Sensor Assembly, first remove the left windshield garnish molding, left center pillar assist handle, left center pillar garnish molding, and the left sunshade. Carefully remove the headliner and pull on the technician side of the inside air temperature sensor connector. Unbolt the sensor partially from the headliner and then remove the sensor grille. Remove the inner air temperature sensor wall from the headliner completely. In installing, mate the new sensor grille with the headliner, then the inside air temperature sensor and sensor grille. Connect the electrical connector to the inside air temperature sensor, followed by the reinstallation of the left sunshade, left center pillar garnish molding, left center assist handle, and left windshield garnishes molding.
