Moving on, disconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector before removing its retaining screws that fix it to the hvac module. Next step involves removing the air temperature actuator from the hvac module. Insert the new air temperature actuator into the hvac module before following the fastener notice in service precautions. Install the retaining screws on the actuator while tightening them to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in). The electrical connector for the air temperature actuator requires connection before reinstalling the passenger side knee bolster.
