Before you can replace the rear speaker in a pickup, take off the rear body side trim panel and pull the connectors away. After that, loosen and take out the radio rear speaker nuts before removing the speaker from the trim panel. For installation, put the radio rear speaker onto the trim panel and fasten it with the radio rear speaker nuts, tightened to 1.2 N.m (11 lb-in). When you have finished, plug the electrical connectors into the speaker and install the rear body side trim panel back into place. When you are finished, make sure the electrical connections are working correctly.
