How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Sonoma?

The first step in manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor replacement requires a shutdown of ignition power. Hook the MAP Sensor harness connector after disconnecting it then extract the sensor directly upward while gently swaying it to prevent damage to either components. You need to remove the old MAP Sensor grommet after disconnecting it from the installation. When installing the new MAP Sensor first attach the new grommet to the MAP Sensor followed by MAP Sensor installation then connect the MAP Sensor harness.
