How to replace the fuel level sensor on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
A replacement of the fuel level sensor starts with removing the fuel sender assembly and disconnecting the fuel pump electrical connector. Before starting disconnect the electrical connector located under the fuel sender cover as well as remove the retaining clip from the fuel level sensor connector. Take off the sensor retaining clip before closing the locking tangs and separating the fuel level sensor from its position. Start by installing the fuel level sensor then fasten it in with the sensor retaining clip. Fix the fuel level sensor electrical connector before installing its retaining clip to the corresponding sensor connector. To finish the process connect the fuel pump electrical connector and then reinstall the fuel sender assembly.
