Wiper Motor

Begin wiper motor replacement by taking off the wiper arms together with the air inlet grille panel. Unscrew the four bolts holding the reinforcement panel while you also remove it from its place. Set the electrical connector back to the wiper motor and fit the reinforcement panel with four bolts at 9 N.m of torque. Replace the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms afterward. Verify that the wipers are working correctly by activating them.

Install the reinforcement panel with the four bolts, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in) and the air inlet grille panel as well as the wiper arms. After you are done, test the wipers to make sure they work well.

To replace rear Wiper Motor, remove Wiper Arm first and then remove nut and spacer from Wiper Motor shaft. Next, remove the interior trim panel and disconnect the Wiper Motor electrical connector. Then remove the two screws and pull out the Wiper Motor. For installation, preliminarily install the new Wiper Motor and screw them in using two screws, screwing them in 19 n.m (14 lb ft). Install the Wiper Motor electrical connector, reinstall the interior trim panel, and put the spacer and nut on the Wiper Motor drive shaft, torque at 8 n.m (71 lb in). Finally, reinstall the Wiper Arm.

Press the wipers to check if they move smoothly.

Reattached the electrical connector to the wiper motor, put the 4 bolts into the reinforcement panel and tighten them until they reach 9 N.m (80 lb in), and put the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms back in place. When you have finished, use the wipers to verify they are working properly.
