    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on Chevrolet Blazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before starting your wiper motor replacement gather these items: Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) plus Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). To start remove both wiper arms and the air intake panel. Disassemble the wiper transmission system with the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) by disconnecting the drive link and separating the motor from the transmission system before detaching the electrical connector from the wiper motor. Uninstall the three wiper motor vehicle screws to start the installation process. Install the new wiper motor over the vehicle mounting area and tighten the three screws to 6.5 N.m (57 lb in). Reestablish electrical connection before you place the wiper transmission installer J 39529 over the crank arm ball of the wiper motor. Apply white lithium grease according to GM P/N 9985885 or equivalent and set the wiper transmission onto the crank arm beyond the second position while pushing the seal to 25.5 mm (1 in) maximum height. Reinsert the wiper arms while installing the air inlet screen back into its original position.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on Chevrolet S10? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel first in order to replace the Wiper Motor. Then, in order to disengage the transmission from the Wiper Motor drive link, use the wiper transmission separator (J 39232). Remove the electrical connector from Wiper Motor and unscrew three screws to pull the Wiper Motor out of the vehicle. Mount the new Wiper Motor to the vehicle using the three screws and make sure that they are tightened up to 6.5 n.m (57 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector, lubricate the socket with white lithium grease (GM P/N 9985885) or equivalent, and make sure the wiper transmission is attached to the crank arm below the second detent to compress the seal to not more than 25.5 mm (1 in). Finally, apply the wiper transmission installer (J39029) to install the transmission drive link socket on the crank arm ball of the Wiper Motor, and then reinstall the air inlet grille panel and the wiper arms.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on GMC Sonoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
To install the Wiper Motor begin by taking out the wiper arms plus the air inlet grille panel. Apply the wiper transmission separator part j39232 to disconnect both transmission and Wiper Motor drive link. Unplug the Wiper Motor cable and unscrew its three bolts before taking out the Wiper Motor from the vehicle. Install the new Wiper Motor into its position by fitting the three screws and turning them until torque reaches 6.5 n.m (57 lb in). Join the electrical wires back in place and apply white lithium grease (GM P/N 9985885) or equivalent into the socket. Fit the wiper transmission onto the crank arm after the second detent until it pushes the seal to 25.5 mm (1 inch) maximum compression. Set the wiper transmission installer j 39529 on the crank arm ball to put on the transmission drive link socket. After that put back the wiper arms and air inlet grille panel.
