    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on Chevrolet Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must take off the air inlet grille panel and detach the wiper motor electrical connection to start the wiper motor replacement. Free the wiper drive system module by taking out the screws that hold it. Pull the module out from the car. You can replace the wiper motor by putting the Wiper Transmission Separator tool J 39232 onto the shaft to detach the wiper transmission from the wiper motor then unscrewing the wiper motor from its attachments. Install the wiper motor on the wiper transmission by placing it properly and tightening the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Fit the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm through the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Position the module back into the vehicle and place its screws before tightening them to 10 N.m throughput (89 lb in). Reattach the wiper motor electrical connection then put back the air inlet grille panel.

    Q:
How to Service and Repair a Wiper Motor on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
You can begin servicing the wiper motor by removing the air inlet grille panel then unclipping the wiper motor electrical connector. Take out the wiper drive system module by first removing all its screws. The Wiper Transmission Separator retainer J 39232 disconnects between the wiper transmission and motor crank arm making it possible to unscrew and extract the wiper motor from the wiper transmission. Fix the wiper motor on the wiper transmission and tighten wiper motor screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Place the wiper drive system module onto its original location before using the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529) to link the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm. Afterward, fasten the wiper drive system module screws by hand while keeping the panel close to its completed position and tightening all screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Attach the motor electrical connector and fit back the air inlet grille panel.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the wiper motor replacement by taking off both wiper arms plus the air inlet grille panel. Remove the wiper drive system module by first disconnecting the electrical connector from the wiper motor then taking out the three screws holding it to the vehicle. With the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) disable the link between the wiper motor crank arm and the drive link before unscrewing the two frames to remove the wiper motor from its mounting slot. Place the wiper motor on the tube frame by hand then screw in its two screws and tighten them to 10 N.m (88 lb in). Insert the drive link onto the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Insert the wiper drive system module with three screws at 10 N.m (88 lb in), and plug the electrical connector back to the wiper motor. After that complete the setup by putting back the wiper arms and the air inlet grille along with performing basic wiper operations.
